Savings Saturday - Toys "R" Us
Toys "R" Us is having an Easter savings deal (which lasts until 3/24) and a sale of Hasbro toys and play-doh where you can buy 2 and get the 3rd for free.
The Easter savings deal includes a major brand that has lately been a giant obsession of mine (as you can see through posts like these nice three): Calico Critters. They are also buy one, get one 40% off. The following families are on sale for $19.99 (regular prices in parenthesis): Sweetpea Rabbit ($24.99), Wilder Panda ($21.99), Outback Koala (one of the ones I have - $22.99), Tuxedo Cat (slightly different than mine, with another girl instead of a toddler - $22.99), Chocolate Labrador ($22.99), Hopper Kangaroo ($22.99), Sandy Cat ($22.99), Hazelnut Chipmunk ($22.99), Toy Poodle ($24.99), Cuddle Teddy Bear ($22.99). The Fluffy Hamster family is on sale for $14.99 instead of $19.99. The Family Seven Seater Van is on sale($34.99 instead of $39.99).
Select dolls are 2 for $15. Disney Princess, Enchantimals, DC Superhero Girls and Barbie dolls seem to be the biggest brands on sale through this offer.
In regular clearance, there isn't really anything of note other than the usual suspects being on sale: Barbie, Bratz, DC Superhero Girls, Disney Princess, and Monster High.
There's also a rumor going about lately that says that Toys "R" Us is planning on closing all their stores and liquidating (or quickly selling off) their stock. This won't be good for Hasbro and Mattel, who both have major stock in Toys "R" Us.
