All My Critters (updated 8/17/18)

A lot has changed since the last time I let you into my little Calico Critter Corner. We have doubled the number of families! We now have four families: The Outback family (which is the oldest and biggest family), the Tux family, the Elwood family and the Wilder or Yesheng family. They've been itching for family portraits. So I finally decided to bite the bullet and make an **updating** post with the names and backstories of all the families. All picture captions are done from left to right, top to bottom/back to front. I don't call the small ones that stand up babies - I call them toddlers instead.

1st row - Shelia (mother), Bruce (father).  2nd row - Eleanor (daughter), Lily (female toddler), Leon (male toddler), Ogden (male toddler), Adelaide (female toddler).  3rd row - Martha (female baby), Richard (male baby), Joey (male baby), Susan (female baby), Dorothy 'Dottie' (female baby), Blanche (female baby). 

Shelia and Bruce Outback love children almost as much as they love eucalyptus. Even after having three natural children (Twins Adelaide and Ogden plus a little joey named Joey), it just was not enough. After finding Eleanor and her siblings Martha and Richard all alone in a nice house, they decided to start adopting any stray orphans that came their way. Now they boast the biggest family on the block! Shelia helps out with Elizabeth Elwood's baking company and Bruce is the head of an insanely popular furniture company. Eleanor loves to play nanny and makes great grades in school. No one knows what happened to any of the orphan's parents. All that matters now is that they have a nice, loving family to take care of them.

Jinx and Jasmine have been friends with the Outbacks for a long time and thought moving in together would be a purrfect arrangement. Jinx works in the office while Jasmine is a teacher. They recently adopted an orphan relative of theirs, Autumn. All the toddlers in this family (and sometimes Jinx himself) like to get into a bit of trouble and mischief. Thank goodness cats have 9 lives! Jessie can be a little spoiled at times, but she still tries her best to be a good friend and student.

Erin (daughter), Edgar (father), Elizabeth 'Libby' (mother), Edward (son)

Edgar is a homemaker (desperately trying to keep up with all the children!). Elizabeth runs a bakery out of the house. She hopes to one day open up an actual bakery. Daughter Erin loves to bake and snitch on keep an eye out for her brother. Erin wants to open her own bakery like her mom one day. Edward wants to grow up to be an explorer and loves to climb up trees.

1st row - Cheng (father), Ziyi (mother). 2nd row - Chen (son), Po (male twin), Li (female twin), Xianghua (daughter). 

The Wilder family came all the way from China to move in with the other families. They are looking for a new, better life than before. Po and Li arrived first and stayed with the Outback family until the others got through the strict immigration laws. (That's code for I bought the twins first and had to get the rest of the family later...). Cheng is currently helping out at Bruce Outback's furniture business. Ziyi hopes to start her own fashion business with the help of her daughter, since she handmade all the family's clothes. Xianghua and Chen are quiet around their new friends, but once they get used to their new life, they are sure to come out of their shells!
